I started editing professionally in 2001. The same year that saw ‘The Office’, ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ and ‘Pop Idol’ make their UK TV debuts. Of course, everyone really remembers the big guns: ‘Rolf on Art’, ‘Fun at the Funeral Parlour’ and ‘One Man and his Hob’.

You’re welcome to trawl through my own CV 👆 where you’ll find some equally sparkling entries in to the history of our beloved medium; who can forget 2007’s ‘Spice Girls on Trial’, or ‘The Most Annoying People 2009’ (Spoiler, it was Katie Price) or ‘Jewish Mum of the Year’?

I’ve edited a lot of different content, for lots of different clients, in lots of different teams. Truth is, I just really love the craft. And I love people, mostly. So it’s a good mix for me.

I’m a former writer turned video editor, so I definitely value good story-telling and think it’s super important, whether it’s sports promos, rolling news, title sequences & idents, lots of food shows, ob-doc, light-entertainment, daytime, prime-time, documentaries, those 3-hour long list shows you watch at Xmas, chat show VT inserts, kids TV, fact-ent, features, BAFTA-winning baking comps and constructed-reality shows, web-series, commercial campaigns, movie promos or Emmy nominated celebrity-led musings about everyday objects.

After 20 years in London, I’m based in Amsterdam. Fully skilled in Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere, with working knowledge of After Effects and a smidge of DaVince Resolve.
